What is love like?

Unrest and the spirited rejection of spirits.. This is love at a few thousand miles.. The same crow flying in my miss you so fucking much sky.. Silver birds escaping from that sexy throat.. She wakes me calling…. Sharper than a whisper told in my heart

A crow to carve me out

Easier said than known, truly… she eats and I stand by.. Standing near. Wanton, I’m recklessly swinging, hanging … I want to see her swinging at the cage… kneeling in front of her… one question and maybe one early morning late night tumble…early morning hello and we dance through the scripture..

She’s a dancer. Her shift tells me about the youngest days of the year

I might believe her more now that I know… she’s usually right.. I am her mimic in that dress.

“But, …I mean..what is love like?”…I wanted to tell her, and she stayed long enough for me to show her..writing it as action…knowing how love acted..but what is love..like.. Is it a man?..is it finer than man, the first woman? Lilith in the sticks..drawn up from the river bed..Finer than thighs.. Does love drive or sit demurely....lingering between my middle and pinkie..lingering in the webbing of my ribs….. “What is love made of?” it is made of everything we brought at birth, born equipped, water and sand.. Earth and blood, it is made of childish things put away for elder things…
