Sweet Damnation by Lauren Marx

hey tightening unfurled,

I must terrify you, mouth full of sermon, crawling out of me.. this cell changing me, a weapon of Christ… I am altered.. wounded

dashed

reassembled.. I have been dreaming of rocking you.. having rocked you. dreaming of standing up with you as you have stood up with me.. this faith, your faith , a constellation sparkling, a matter of faith.. I might have written earlier to tell you of the column bow and arrow used to drain me..

is that you .. baby? is that you? ……….. perhaps I can build again these words arrange them so you can see my face.. and the hairs growing there… spread open like wings maybe you can see the multitudes writhing like legs running from the reconstruction. it is the mist so you might still settle into those attachments and those fears………

it is never good to talk over another person.. so… one file closed ..and we watched the crow leave.. that bird flew ..so a paper cut and heart refused, not in substance but in light, in weight and in hand…. but is that you baby? are these your teeth lining and marking the center line on the roadway…. is it you?
