Sum of us

There’s a commercial that promotes something.. I don’t remember.. but one girl is sitting at a laptop.. another girl enters and the laptop girls smiles at the girl entering.. they are black girls .. and they are smiling.. it tells me that not all of us are bruised .. everyone has their own experiences.. and some of us smile

Some of us.. is not the sum of us .. so easy to forget.. these lives are in fact lives

So much for sale, everywhere and the bridge club board of directors is tightening the belt. Squeezing the right now.. for the holistic minded forevers of the community.. the teams are fragmented. The souls are ignored .. we are doing God’s work after all..I am chosen to do the cleaning and scrubbing and producing.. making it look like the compensation for time is capable of holding our hearts together.. fragmented

We are not all in the struggle…. some of us are resisting the sum of things holding on the additions .. ignoring the differences….raising our vibration one unbruised smile at a time, the sum of us invalidated
