hide the bodies
Open your mouth and talk about all those places. The free moments and the declaration of that freedom.. slow the music.. and the tonal vibes are still redundant.. open your mouth.
It’s a firefly fight. Taking the time to rise into the trees, this slow walk, light up the Georgia in your voice. The southern comfort of the podcast microphone. Call it home and separate the red clays from the porcelain.. drag that body where no one can find it.
All those times you faced the exposure.. self exposed.. reflective tape and bicycle grease.. squat over the mounds .. face the mortal coil at the center of the reaction(feeling) identified. Squeeze her twice. She resisted the urge to fall into them then, to only maybe fall into them now.. she wants to do it right. And just like that I can never say anything right.. all the bad is almost nunca mal. Squeeze out
Every
Drop
This is the best of days, a green tea elevation, the very best of things coming. Make it beautiful, shape it in your hands, always remembering to hide the bodies and make the bed, never forgetting to turn down those sheets.
